10 Miles........ tick

Set off with determination, armed with Tailwind and Kendal Mint Cake and my two faithful running buddies, and we did it, first 10 miles. To say I was over the moon was an understatement, luckily no one around to see demented grey haired little old lady running around like she just scored the winning goal in the World Cup. Even the boys are a bit tired now

Aww Setters, that’s fabulous news! Don’t forget to get that badge to stare at! 🏅👍 🎉 Brilliant brilliant run, and I know how you felt at the end! I’m tempted to do what the footie players do and run around with my shirt over my face ..... best not though!! 😳

Gosh your dogs must be fit. I don’t take mine on my long runs, mainly because it’s too far for her to be on the lead, and I like to concentrate purely on myself if pushing my distance. How lovely having them celebrate with you! 🐕❤️

They are very fit, we walk around 10 miles a day, and they run with me off the lead, must admit I usually am aware of what they are doing, but the last 1k today I had no idea where they where, just trusted they were with me and they were. I am pretty confident that they can do any distance I can as long as it’s not too hot and there are plenty of water sources for them to drink and splash in, after all they don’t carry water like we do 🤔

Ooh thank you, as I don’t do races this is the only bling I get! Other excellent furry pal took himself off to bed to recuperate, he’s just like this one but twice the size.
