And a 13 hour day at a TV shoot (no, seriously), following the lovely people who replied to my wobble the other day I headed to the gym and decided to do a 5k at race day pace. Slow and steady, walking breaks, lots of good music. No time pressure and if anything was overly cautious with breaks for my feet etc.
40 mins which is my slowest to date but feeling good to lock in another 3.2 miles this week in prep for the 8 miler (or 8.5) on a Sunday. Also very aware this won’t be an accurate reflection of my realistic time as I’m due on “my time of month” in 3 days, have been on my feet since 5:30am, have a cold, and haven’t eaten dinner yet! All things considered, not a bad time at all.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply to my wobble as well - really appreciated. X
