Wobble Wonderful

β€’10 Replies

Started using one of these as daily get moving thing. Worked my way up to 25 minutes of wobble while listening to some tunes and now using some small hand weights at the same time. Get toning and a real gain in ankle strength and no issues while running with foot weakness or shin splints now as I have progressed. Bought mine inexpensively from Decathlon. Unlike my dodgy post photo, I do mine barefoot.

I keep looking at this every time I go into Decathlon - it's on my birthday request list 😍

I first used one to rehabilitate a broken leg ankle combination back in the day and have found now that old injury sites can annoyingly revisit. The wobbling seems to help, as well as tonning up well wobbly bits!!! :-)

Have just bought one following a mention on another post and am helping it will help strengthen my muscle imbalance.🀞 Good to hear that is has proved beneficial. Do you have a program you work through?

Nothing specific, I set a timer that I can see and then work my way through a series of position changes with my feet which alters your balance points. Now with the hand weights, I do a few arm curls, overhead press etc to stay engaged and keep altering that balance point. If you are new to it give yourself plenty of space to step off the board and like everything start small and build up. Music is essential, it needs to have pace and be LoUd (headphones may be required) easy listening just will not do. WoBBle On.
