Half marathons on a Saturday?

Does anyone know of any half marathons or any other events not obstacle or muddy runs that are on a Saturday. The reason I ask is that I don't want to use any more leave coming back on a Monday after a race on Sunday but I know the trains in this country are very infrequent on a Sunday which is when I would have to travel back. I am looking at July, late August or ,early September.

I don't personally (other than the Beachy Head Marathon/10K, which is at the end of October, and probably not the sort of thing you're interested in anyway) but there seems to be a few on this list here, for example:

Thanks. I have seen a couple of events I might do. The Leamington Spa half too short notice and may be sold out Anyway

It's an interesting question. I'd have thought most Saturday events would be off-road because closing roads is tricky on Saturdays, but there's a reasonable mixture there!

The Leamington one looks nice, a pity because it is a bit short notice as you say xx

Yes it is also getting there would be difficult on a Sunday so again would require an overnight stay on Saturday. The 401 running festival in Portishead is on a Saturday and I could travel down on a Friday. Think 3-4 weeks is adequate gap between events for me anyway

Kew Gardens Run is Sat 14th September but it’s an early start 8.30 am so not sure if you’d need the day before to travel 🙄😊

Hinckley, Leicestershire however we will be travelling to Edinburgh on holiday for a week so can't do that weekend and am away early August too
