📢 FIRST UP! kwell39 is running the Women's Half Marathon on the 4th May, but I can find no further details when I Google it. Kwell! Do tell us all about it when you get back! I'm basically picturing that bit in the new Avengers film (keeping it vague, no spoilers) where the superheros that err towards the female side club together and get stuck in. I'm sure I won't be disappointed 😄

I’m very proud of how the marathon went, great day, but chilly...

The Course was long, I checked it across pacers and friends and we have 26.7 on average ....I can see were it was long in my intervals....

Anyway, I ran looking at heart beat (never above 150, 160 up hill) until mile 20, then I raced the last 6 miles!

I managed 3h27. My Garmin says 3h23 for26.2

My last pb was above 4:15!!!!!

I’ll write something more later, now I need some rest

Great result Marco! Well done 👏🏻👏🏻. I see there was some error with the lead car taking the wrong route adding 0.3miles, and timings to be adjusted to account for this 👍

Yep my Garmin said 26.7 and gave me the (final) marathon in 3h23:50 (I was faster in the second part) so my guess is 3:25 or sub

PB went down from 4h15 to (officially) 3:25:50, my Garmin gives me 3:23:50 (guess because I ran the second half much faster than the first and the organizers took the average pace, the garmin took the fastest marathon within the 26.6 miles it thinks I ran
