Yes, the plan is to build on HM distance with a view to 20 mile runs. I was hoping for 14.5ish today but I forgot to plan in a short warm up walk so lost .5 at the start before I started running. Hey ho. No rush. πͺπ
I was posting yesterday about a Kilomarathon, which is 26.2 Kilometres, got a few comments about that including one from Oldfloss.
26.2 Kilometres is just over 16 miles so it would be a stepping stone for you for your 20 mile runs, there are not many Kilomarathons, the only one I know of was Edinburgh, yes was, its past, not sure if there are any more..
I'm very pleased myself. I'm going to dial it back a tad now this month. I'm determined not to overdo it again but want to keep moving forward ππ
Thatβs the ticket! That elevation change in a concrete jungle just wouldnβt cut it, but get you out in nature and it is AWESOME π. Glad you enjoyed it.
I have much respect for people like yourself doing these kind of hills all the time. But being in nature and the beautiful views is getting me hooked too π.
