Just a heads up. Not sure how long. I got the 235 but if I had my time again I’d get the 735xt with a chest strap for the extra data it captures. The Fenix look good too.

[Macmac Marathon]

Very good price for a 235. Much less than I paid for mine 18 months ago, but I use it so much that I do not regret it one bit. I’m not a fan of chest straps myself, even if they are more accurate. For the convenience I’m happy to put up with the odd HR error. I would love a Fenix with mapping, but would not use it often enough to justify it, and have founds gps mapping apps with OS level detail to be a great alternative (in addition to my 235 of course) for trails in the hills. 😁

The beauty of the chest strap is not the hrm but that it opens up a whole bunch of other running dynamics measurements (which may or may not be of any value to any individual).

You can...there is a “pod” you can buy instead. From memory it’s about £60.
