Headphones arrived today!

After having an email saying that the headphones I ordered were arriving Sunday, I then had another one saying they were being delivered today. Most impressed. They are easy to pair with Bluetooth and the sound quality is good. I am still not sure if I should have gone with the Aftershokz but these just sit on the earsrather than cover them completely unlike my Riwbox ones. So need an opinion on whether I should carry on with my Riwbox ones or keep the new ones for when it's darker for safety reasons or go up market and buy Aftershokz. I attach a photo of both sets of headphones.

I like the aftershokz but not the price.

I use a model very similar to your new ones and have found them great. In case I decide to take part in an event where ordinary headphones are not allowed, I've just invested in a cheaper version of aftershokz

I managed to get them for £32 through a special offer - not tried yet as they are for my birthday next week !😀

Thanks Jonathan. I don't use headphones in races as like to soak up the atmosphere besides although they say bone conductor headphones and non in ear ones are allowed sometimes they recommend not wearing them.

I have these very ones. They’ve served me well for nearly a year.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am not a skinflint but I think Aftershock are overpriced imo and as these are not totally covering my ears they should be OK ie I should still be able to hear traffic noise etc and if it is light I will be able to see what is going on anyway. I haven't trued them on a run yet. Are they sweat proof? I sweat a lot when running so hope they won't be ruined.

I sweat a lot too. I saturate the cushions by the the end of a long run and I just let them air dry and they have been fine. I love them.
