15 miles yesterday went surprising well. It had been in the back of my mind all week that it's as far as I've run this year, and confidence hasn't been high of late.

But, intervals on Wednesday went well, happy coach full of enthusiasm, so that helped. And the knee has been slowly improving. So off I set, very steadily. And steady it stayed... In control pretty much all the way though, and the knee was okay; stiffened up a bit while I was out, and complained somewhat afterwards. Stretching helped and by the time I'd got into the rest of my day it was fine. So, yeah, really encouraging stuff.

18 miles planned for this weekend. Which is pushing it a bit, and more than the coach wanted. But I've talked her into letting me, I'm going to feel much more confident about Brighton if I can pull off 18 miles this weekend before we start a short half taper.

Nearly there...
