Love it! So pink! 😁 Wow you are going for the summer feel, very brave! Yes the weather forecast is good - no wind, yippee! - but I am thinking of wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt under my Dogs Trust vest top, I'm a bit of a wimp! No doubt I'll be sweating buckets after the first 5k!

I get really hot when I run so I'm hoping it's the right decision! Think I might have to wear a bit extra to walk to the start or I'll be freezing x

Yes me too - apparently there will be a Hastings Runners bus where we can leave our gear

I'm not running as a Hastings Runner - I don't have EA affiliated membership. I expect they would let me use it if needed but luckily my ex husband is coming over to watch (his girlfriend's running and our son's doing the 2k mini run) so I can put stuff in his car x

Oh I didn't think of that - I'm not EA registered either! I'm sure they will let me use the coach though. I am driving down but I'll probably have to park miles away

Liking that outfit.......yes, I can imagine the shorts and vest top will be the best choice........although, I’d want some warm stuff to put on at the end. At my recent half I had a pair of joggers/cycle trousers to put on in my bag, first time I’ve done that - normally I don’t bother too much about my legs, but I’m glad I did.

Thanks Madge! Definitely need to look out some things to put on after. It's amazing how quickly I get cold once I've stopped! Luckily I don't live far from the start/finish x

I think this is a great way to set the scene for your race. Have a great run and tell us all about it. Love the colour scheme. I thought you vest top was a thong there, surely not for running. But then I looked again. My mistake.
