I can never decide these days, whether to post on this forum or the 'Marathon running and race support' forum - but many folks cross over between the two, so here I am!
I am just in the process of using Abi's great HM training plan to cobble together an individual plan that will work for me. My HM is on the 10th March. Today's plan was to head out for an 'easy' 13k. I am trying to develop a greater awareness of the importance of different pacing when training (again, thank you Abi for all the notes on your plans!π) and I was very mindful today of keeping to a pace where I could (had anyone else been aroundπ) have held a conversation....I don't know, does talking to sheep or singing along to 'Hamilton' count?! I suppose it does reallyπππ½ββοΈ Anyway, it was fab out running on my trails today - the rain had stopped but there was still mud and puddles aplenty and I ran through woodland, on paths, grass and along the old railway line which is now a public bridleway. I only get to run here at the weekends now that the evenings are dark so early but luckily I am also loving my pavement pounders, lit up by my chest light in the dark! So, run done (1:24:01) and muddy shoes now hosed, stuffed with paper and drying ready for their next outing. Happy running week, everyone.π
