Horrible but great??!!

REALLY didn't feel like a run today but after 2 rest days felt I had to. First 10 minutes were horrible, felt like running in treacle, couldn't get my breathing right. I thought if it's going to be like this then let's make it worthwhile. Strange how sometimes it's the bad things that can turn into something great.

Not surprised your breathing was tricky. That’s very fast. Are you in a particular hurry 🙂

Take care! 👍

I didn't start off particularly quickly. After the 10 minute mark I just thought bugger it and went for it. I promise to be more careful in the future.

Yeah just take care. It’s so easy to overdo it.

That looks familiar, you’ve nicked part of one of ‘my’ running routes!

The running through treacle turning into a good run after a break sounds familiar too. I think it could possibly be something to do with the body liking the routine of running at regular times each week which makes it difficult to get started but still benefitting from the rest?

Your running routes????? Now I'm curious. I'm running out of running routes as I tend to stick to the tried and tested. Any other routes you can suggest would be great.
