A nervous hello

So I completed C25K in September and joined the bridge to 10K community and have now fallen hook, line and sinker for this running lark. So much so in fact I have signed up for the Sheffield half marathon next April. Expect lots and questions about this that and the other.... Glad to be here. Thanks all.

Welcome and good luck! I've signed up for my first half in March next year, and have started a beginner HM training plan just this week. You won't be the only one asking lots of questions :D

Many thanks. Some days I'm worried about the HM other days when I have a decent run I think how hard can it be to keep putting one foot in front of the other for 13.1 miles. Long(ish) run coming up. I'll let you know how that one goes.

You’ll be great. It feels like a slow process but there are gradual improvements and by the end you’ll be wondering how you just pulled it off...just like the earlier C25 stages 🙂

You’ll train well in Sheffield! it is one of the hilliest places imaginable 💪👍😃🏃‍♂️

😂😂😂😂 it sure is. On my C25K journey I avoided the hills like the plague. Now I have learnt to love the hills and try to include a "good" hill each time I run.
