So I completed C25K in September and joined the bridge to 10K community and have now fallen hook, line and sinker for this running lark. So much so in fact I have signed up for the Sheffield half marathon next April. Expect lots and questions about this that and the other.... Glad to be here. Thanks all.

Hey! And a hook line and sinker welcome to the forum!!!!
Lovely to have you, ask away 😊 Looking forward to reading about your experiences of training for the half.
Welcome Peter!everyone here is friendly and you'll find lots of folk from the 5k and 10k forums here too! 👍🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃😊
Welcome and good luck! I've signed up for my first half in March next year, and have started a beginner HM training plan just this week. You won't be the only one asking lots of questions
Welcome Pete! You will find all your running answers here with these fine folk! Good luck with training for Sheffield 👍🏼
Many thanks. Some days I'm worried about the HM other days when I have a decent run I think how hard can it be to keep putting one foot in front of the other for 13.1 miles. Long(ish) run coming up. I'll let you know how that one goes.
You’ll be great. It feels like a slow process but there are gradual improvements and by the end you’ll be wondering how you just pulled it off...just like the earlier C25 stages 🙂
Me too 😃. There are some great run clubs up there
I live down the road from you In Derbyshire
