Motivational magic and running the singular most important thing to bring that about.π₯πββοΈπββοΈπ₯βοΈ
Reflections about you Panther cub leader, how many 10 the magic number programmes have there been and how many cubs have participated.π€ I guess a similar question for C25k.π€π₯πββοΈπππ₯βοΈ
i planned to go out and go for a half marathon length run on friday afternoon i couldn't go as the other half took all the keys and so i couldn't lock the house I just did housework instead
Ops I did it again! I simply cannot resist to a reduced entry fee for a marathon. I received an email from the Belfast city marathon: entry fee at Β£38 until end of October... So I entered!
The Belfast city marathon will happen on the 5th of May on a new, flat course. I will put down my plan soon and probably will try to dedicate 18 to 24 weeks to that starting in November.
I would love to manage a proper finish this time
But for now I focus on recover and speed up a bit ... hope you all have a great week!
Yeah this one is. My sonβs birthday. I did it last year and dragged him out of bed to go with me π
I just got so hacked off with running in the dark in filthy weather, along the main roads, getting Tsunamid by lorries π. Iβve not ruled it out. I need to confer with OH. I have a ten miler in March already Aaaah decisions decisions π¬. My brain hurts π
π. I want to do it but ...... I must be getting lazy. I think all this doom is cos my feet are in a mess. I have blisters on my blisters, two big toe nails hanging off I taped one toe nail yesterday but came back with the biggest sodding blister on the next toe caused by friction from the tape π.
My gym guy left as well, so feeling a bit gutted about that Still, chin up π
Looking back at my Blenheim 10k race with satisfaction and looking forward to the 10k race at the same venue in two weeks time. Iβm getting as many cross country runs done as I can as well before we get cut off, as we do in winter. Often snowed in, and the footpaths and hills are impassable with mud in winter - I mean heavy duty calf deep treacherously slippery stuff.
nope, a run is a run is a run. I am not doing anything, just my own thing , and you are doing brilliantly, dont be putt off. Every event whether its a 5,10,HM, marathon or Ultra are all just as important
I hope your Ons are up to the mud. I saw lots of Inovs being worn on my last muddy fell job. The fell race is cancelled this year βΉοΈβΉοΈβΉοΈβΉοΈβΉοΈβΉοΈ Gutted I might just run it anyway π
I thought about you yesterday and hoped you were running somewhere completely relaxed. I was listenening to the romantic warblings of Leonard Cohenβs βSuzanneβ. It was utterly gorgeously lovely to jog along to. I thought youβd enjoyed it as maybe youβre a bit of an old hippy like meself π.
Ah yes, for youβve touched her perfect body with your mind πΌ
If I continue running here soon, I will be wearing my Muck Boots. The gates are the problem. No trail shoe can cope with calf deep mud with steep, slippery slopes round them. I attempted it last February and met a girl who said she had fallen three times and had mud inside both wellies. I donβt want another fractured femur and my dodgy knee interferes with balance on slick surfaces. Boo! I wish I could be less of a wimp but I wonβt even go out when the pavements are icy. Mic got really annoyed with me last winter because I refused to negotiate the car park at Aldi.
My run yesterday was lovely. So glad I went. But I never run to π§ π΅
I'm in the running wilderness after Leeds Castle 10k on 30 Sep. No plan. Just running a bit. I need to find a new event...maybe Marden 10k or even HM...but it's less than 6 weeks away and I am rudderless since My Asics disappeared. Bum.
Hi Juju. I am alive and well. My running is still rubbish but my ability to ride my bikes ( I know have ,4) has hopefully improved my duathlon capability. Since May/ June I have been busy with duathlon training for the2019 etu events in Romania.. I have already qualified. This weekend at Bedford Airadrome sees the final GB qualifier. Over ,400 competitors ( including 486) will have a mass start. Now that looks "interesting".
Just watching my poor wee third toe nail, which is pretty greyish black and sad, and wondering if it will fall off. It feels like a rite of passage though, I'm no stranger to black toenails from quad skating, but this is my first from running! I used to have nice feet, once upon a time π π
Hello everyone. Iβm moving to HM by February but those longer morning runs, currently up to 14k, write off the rest of my day! Iβm SO tired after! Will I get used to it? Iβve started using a gel but still π€
