Good morning runners! I hope everybody is doing well and enjoying this lovely weather.
Just a quick update on how things are going with the Garmin HM training plan. I'm on week 12 and realized I picked way too many weeks ππ I ended up completing a HM on Sunday without realizing, had a bit of a mix up toward end and slowed down and even nipped in shop... Realized when I jogged home if I'd maintained pace and not nipped in shop then if have beaten my HM PB from ages ago π
Ah well! Maybe next time! Il be honest the last 5km was really hard work and my brain was a little confused and needed liquid and sugar π
Next time I'm taking plenty of liquid and something to eat on route, will hopefully avoid the brain fog at end of run and be able to finish stronger.
PB wise lately I've set new ones over 1m, 2m and 20k so I can't knock the Garmin training even though I am finding it a little bland. Lots of time to listen to books though so all good π also found Coach Bennetts podcast! Lots of those to get through ππ»
