Hi all, panicking about my first half marathon in May! Not been running a year yet!!

Can anyone tell me if a 30m Hill is big or not? I’ve just seen a fb post saying there’s a hill at mile 9!! Feeling worried!

Thanks in advance 🏃‍♀️😀

No, that's not very big, although it is a bit of a gradual incline (Gatwick, right?). Just think about coming down the other side :)

If there's a hill try to include a bit of hill running in your training. At the Eastbourne HM there is one mother of a hill heading for beachy head, but it's right at the beginning (mile 2-3) so your fresh when you hit it, and the run down the other side is glorious.

That doesn’t sound big to me but perhaps plan some training routes with a hill or two to get you into the hill vibe ?
