Due to snow and ice and freezing wind the Clumber park duathlon is off. I only live 15 mins up the road . Its a lovely morning the sun is shining we have no wind or snow. There must be something to try out. Yes. There is an offroad nite run at Sherwood Pines 7 km . Must charge up the batteries on my helmet. Well it's something to do.

Really!? I know it’s snowing a bit but I didn’t think it was that bad! It’s frosty here but barely arctic conditions and i’m Not that far from Clumber.

Thanks roseabi and misswobble for your advice to "Go Mike". So I did" Go" well it was snow and mud after dark. Great fun.. First in age group and oldest runner mad enough to be out /yellow T shirts ...... was an evening to remember. Loved every muddy ,snowy bit of it. 7 km after dark ( all off road in Sherwood Pines) in 63mins was within my marathon training program ...just.📣

Glad to be of service. "Go [insert name]" is pretty good advice I reckon My mum has a "Go Ab!" sign she made with a piece of cardboard, I think she keeps it in a drawer...

Thanks everyone it was my "sorta nite". My headlights. X 2 were fantastic. I bought them for off road MTB night time racing . ( They recon at night they attract moths then they burn em up) . The blizzard was fun. Snow blowing across the muddy/ snowy track sorts out the men and strong women from the boys and girls. He he he 📯📯📯📯📯📯📯📣📣📣📣📣📣📣
