what is the issue? is it not finding GPS? or it is just very inaccurate. I know of your watch but don't have one. Garmin stuff is normally very good.
My watch which isn't a Garmin, but can sometimes take a few minutes to lock onto GPS other days it will it locks on in seconds. If I think it is taking to long i tend to cancel it and then start again.
Wind or bad weather doesn't normally influence GPS. Are you in a new area? It usually takes significantly longer to get a good GPS lock once you've moved a far distance from where you usually are.
