I had to trot out my thermals last week, and have been running with my buff and a beanie since Sunday. We've got snow forecast for the weekend, so my long run will be interesting! I have to keep reminding myself that I ran last winter...

I'm glad I did my intervals yesterday. It was 3 degrees then. It's -5 now.

Oslo. After years of watching other brave souls running in the dark on the ice, I bought studded running shoes last year and joined their ranks. It made a huge difference to my running this year. Otherwise you run on a treadmill during the winter, and have to spend several weeks adapting to the roads again in the spring.

I felt like that this morning on my cycle to the station. I could hardly move my hands to chain up my bike. Ether my winter cycling gloves are rubbish or I was just going to dam fast!

I did a big walk with the dog yesterday and it was boiling 😊 Frosty start today but fine so we're headed out again into the Blue.

I am running some intervals today, at some point, and it's jog club tonight. I suppose by keeping moving we don't get cold 😃
