No not my age but I completed 50 parkrun's yesterday quite happy with that a few pushing a buggy, 43 with the 10 year old and PB of 23.35 done in Eastbourne my home parkrun (Maidstone) is a PB of 23:55. All this in about 14months but to my shame only volunteered 3 times.

A photo of me leaving my 10 year old for dust in sprint to the line!

Shame on me? noo it will do him good it will make him try harder next time. And plus he moaned all the way round - foot hurts, got a stitch, i am hungry, i want to walk etc etc he is normally very good!

thank you the picture is great and so fortunate that we have such a great photographer turn up most weekends. As for my son he should have ran faster!

It's nice to beat your son - isn't it ;)

Mine beat me for the first time a couple of weeks ago (though he is 32 to my 62 so he ought to...).

I'll give you a word of caution, though. Don't run off ahead at Durham parkrun like that. If he comes in on his own there with no adult anywhere near he is likely to be given a double expresso and promised a free puppy.

Your right he should beat you mine is only 10 but i have a feeling he will be beeting me soon!

i always thought durham was a lovely little town, from the pictures!

Ooh look. Flying feet! In all my 3 years of running no photo has ever captured me with flying feet. Well done. you're a proper runner!

i dont get many flying feet photos in fact in most of my running photos i tend to look more like i am speed walking.

not sure about lovely surroundings, but i guess we do go along a river, past a castle and an oast house then we have the bouncy bridge over the river!
