First race number

Just arrived today...

Getting rather excited about the race on Sunday... I am thinking that I will do a 5k tomorrow morning then maybe a run on Thursday morning: not sure what to go for though... Intervals, a short hill run or a longer slower run... Any suggestions?

How exciting!!!!! I would do intervals sooner rather than later so your muscles will recover.... and the 5k sounds a good plan perhaps Thursday and do intervals tomorrow????

Good idea... Intervals tomorrow. Might try the week 2 run from C25K: 90s of fast running with 2 mins of jogging/walking.

It's really happening Simon! I am sure you will love it - I know I did when I did my first 10K event recently! I agree with Juicyju on the runs; maybe just an easy 5k for Thursday. Good luck!

Its really real ! Oh its exciting isn't it ?

Good Luck Simon, you will be fine . I just did a 3k one on the Thursday before my GMR on the Sunday. I didn't like to tempt fate by doing anymore :-) xxx

It's so soon so I would just jog. 5k or just under, leisurely, easy does it. You could fit 2 or 3 in before race day. Have fun ☺
