Dame Kelly Holmes turned up to our parkrun! I let her run ahead obvously as my knee was hurting. But she stayed till everyone had finshed giving high 5's and doing photos.

It's was Maidstone parkrun but I know she has done Tonbridge where she is from a few times and also Tunbridge Wells too.

Yes Hever Castle Triathlon is great really looking forward to it, you should give it a go they do a shorter one.!

I did a fair amount of swimming last year but just can't click with it. I find it very boring, TBH. Add to that, my only bike is an ancient mountain bike that weighs about 2 metric tonnes.

I also have an HM booked for the following week and will, hopefully, be enjoying my taper.

I will definitely be there to cheer you guys on though.

She was very and came across very well and was very happy to see everyone and got lots of attention.

Great photo! I used to watch athletes quite a bit and before meets there was usually a bit where the athletes would hang out with the audience and chat and sign autographs, which is how it should be. Fatima Whitbread struck me as being very nice 😊 Good old Kelly! Glad to see she's carrying on with Parkrun. Well done to you too of course Ben😊
