Wavy Lines and Wet AMD Therapy

I was diagnosed with wet amd. At the time I didn't see wavy lines. About 1 week after the first injections I saw a lot of wavy lines. Now after the second injection of Eyelea, I still see wavy lines. What have others experienced? Do the wavy lines go away?

The wavy lines I used to get eventually went away after a few injections, but on saying that, I had wavy lines before I was diagnosed with wet AMD. Have you told your ophthalmologist that the wavy lines only appeared after you started injections? I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about but mention it anyway. Good luck.

Good morning. I have wet AMD in my left eye and have had injections for about nine years. If I look at a straight edge with this eye there is always a wave in it. Never gone away.

I too had wavy lines from the start and as the months progressed they became a lot less noticeable. Good luck with your future injections but I echo springcross you should mention it at your next appointment.

hello, i have wet amd in right eye, have stopped injections now in that eye as stable, so being monitored, wavy lines were the start of the wet amd, but ceased now. Unfortunately left eye now changed from dry to wet, so just started injections in that eye. Your consultant will advise you best.

Maybe you didnt notice the wavy lines at first because your good eye overcompensated for the bad one. After receiving the Eylea you closed the good eye and could see that the bad eye was really bad on its own...
