I'm getting increasingly frustrated by having to rewind my TV programme and reposition myself 3 cm from the TV to read the text messages used in programmes. Two things:
1. Is there an accessibility hack for this?
2. Is anyone aware of a campaign for more accessible text messages (like the ones used in Sherlock)?
Many thanks,

I think you may be referring to the text messages on an actor's portable phone.
I have been very frustrated myself. Sometimes I think I will catch up with the meaning of the text without reading it, only to realise it was crucial. Otherwise I leap out of my chair to approach the TV closely but I'm usually too late. Could be funny only it's not. At least on replay you can rewind as you say.
I'm encouraged to have seen more than one programme put a larger image of the text on the screen but I can't tell you where I saw it. That seems to indicate that there is an awareness of the problem. Apart from that I haven't heard of any campaigns on the matter.
