Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Oldham Hospital and Trafford General Hospital [ 2 more to yet ], running the gauntlet of hospitals. All the hospitals know I am visually impaired, why can they not send me an appointment letter that I can read. I have a Vision Aid Reader but when magnified too much the typing blurs. Any suggestions to get all the hospitals to print, bold black 20 font with the place, day, date and time leaving off the rest of the twaggle . Does anyone else have problems reading their letter which are printed knowing the ink is nearly empty.

Dear weatherwatcher,
This sounds very frustrating for you. Perhaps you could ask your ECLO (Eye Clinic Liaison Officer) if she is able to help organise for your letters to be sent in a larger font. The ECLO for Manchester University Trust Hospitals is Laura Ross.
Telephone: 0161 701 4258
Mobile: 07989145471
Email: laura.ross@mft.nhs.uk
Kind regards,
