Website gives Locations of UK Volunteer Groups who might help you

Text taken from recent Macular Society FB article:

"What do we do if we need help?

If it is help with shopping or care in the home, or even a chat, there are plenty of social outreach groups set up that you can access. Details are on Facebook, or via the government website and local councils. The national volunteer service website

ncvo.org.uk/ncvo-volunteeri...

will provide contact details of groups that can help you with critical tasks. "

Yesterday my OH called the volunteer group to ask if someone could pick up his medication. It was delivered very quickly by a young lady who only lives a stone throw from us, but we have never met. She left her phone number and said she would do any shopping we need. Everyone has been fantastic. Xx
