Hi Thelis

Yes, I did and went home same day. Bear in mind that depending on whether op is scheduled for am or pm you will have had to have fasted for several hours - can’t remember how long before actual op. Operation itself was approx 45 mins and about an hour recovery time. They’ll obviously assess you afterwards and of course you’ll need to have someone who can take you home. Of course different hospitals may have different procedures.

Thank you for your reply. What time did you have to be at the hospital for a. Morning op. My hospital is Lincoln County.

I had a pm op and had to be there at noon. As every hospital has different ways of doing things it’s best to phone yours. Lincoln County number is 01522 512512
