Seeking perspectives from folks who have stopped injections

I'm interested in better understanding the reasons for stopping injections for wet AMD, and hearing from anyone who has experienced this personally. Thanks!

Dear Lily0721

In support of your query, here are the links to our Care guide for wet AMD

macularsociety.org/sites/de...

and Treatments

macularsociety.org/sites/de...

These indicate that stabilisation is the goal of treatment, and whilst monitoring without injections may take place for a while after this has been achieved, there may be a time when someone is considered stable enough to be discharged, seeking help again if the sight changes again.

The treatments in UK are according to specialist guidelines, and we are currently awaiting an update of these from NICE in Jan 2018 - any day now!

I hope you get some some personal experiential feedback from others, but if you would like to discuss anything further, please contact us as below
