Any experience with PED with vitreomacular traction?

I have been diagnosed with this condition in my left eye in addition to AMD in both eyes. At the FA I was told there was a slight leakage, but the consultant said there was no definite sign of leakage, I also found that too much attention had been given to my right eye and very little to the left which is the eye with the problem. I am still waiting for an explanation from the hospital for this action. I have been offered no treatment at present but will be monitored. Has anyone had experience with PED? Any info would be appreciated.

Hello Ayayay80, I'm not familiar with you're diagnosis and I'm so sorry you're going through all this. Is be scared. I've got AMD in both eyes and received my second injections but so far no improvement. I'm only 53 and worried. I can't imagine what you're going through. I'll be praying, take care

Thank you Lynae. I hope you don't worry too much about your condition. It never helps. But I do understand all your younger peoples' concerns with sooo many years ahead of you, though I still hope to receive (in 20 years time) a telegram from the Queen (or King Charles or King William, whatever the case may be). Hi Lynae, sending you a hug x I am 55 soon and felt the same as you when I got my diagnosis brvo at age 53. All I can offer you is that, 2 yrs on, I feel much better and able to cope. Still get wobbly days when reviews don't go well but mostly just get on with living. You too will be able to deal with your situation, put aside the fear, it just destroys the time now and can't change the future (in my case stress makes it worse!). Wishing you all the best going forward x

Thank you for you're kind words. I will have to watch my stress but it's been hard with planning my daughters wedding. I wonder if the stress made it turn wet? I've been so busy the last 3 month's..... I'll have to ask my Dr. I will continue to live life to the fullest, just incase. Have a good night

Lynae, I'm sure your hard work on the wedding hasn't caused the amd to go wet x enjoy all the preparation s and the big day!

(Stress for me raises bp which they told me affects iop which is now part of my problem, very different to yours so don't worry about that x)
