We have pinhole glasses we bought years ago on the understanding that wearing them for 20 mins or so every day helped the eye focus and reduced the need for specs upgrades quite so often. It was our experience that one could see better with them.
Since the eye trouble havent used them, but they of course are like what they use at the eye tests and there they do improve what you can see.
My question is are they ok to use regularly again? Does it depend on what eye problem one has?
We used to hear about pinhole glasses going back 6 or 7 years. They can apparently sometimes help people with macular conditions (and other eye conditions) focus a bit better. There are lots of testimonials on the web, but since they are not widely promoted by eye clinics I am not sure what benefit they would have.
I don't think they will be harmful to your eyes.
Does anyone else on this forum have any experience with them?
I suggested to my nephew that he use pinhole glasses to help his vision along with exercises, sometimes using his old glasses that are slightly weaker and EFT. Instead of using the glasses for 10 mins a day to start with as I had said, he wore them for hours each day, had a headache for a couple of days and then was ok. After a few weeks he went to the optician and his vision had improved and he was told he needed even weaker glasses. I would not recommend the drastic methods he chose but it definitely worked for him.

You cant use them for driving though, just reading and tv etc
