Any suggestions as to where I can purchase x6 + magnifiers

Hello there - short question but a long answer needed! Depends on who recommended the strength, where you live, for what purpose you need them.

There is such a variety of magnifiers, not just strength but type, and if you were diagnosed within the NHS, there should be a referral to a low vision clinic where something suitable should be provided. You won't get 'ready readers' (ie off the shelf reading glasses) of much more than +3.5 but optometrists/opticians can prescribe and supply stronger glasses. Other than reading glasses there are hand held magnifiers (many with inbuilt illumination), stand magnifiers, spectacle mounted magnifiers, many electronic devices and more! There are specialist commercial providers but any worth their salt will not supply without professional assessment. Their products are usually found on display at low vision resource centres (usually charity funded) and most counties will have one in a central location. Hope this helps!

Just to add to the above excellent comment, if these are for yourself and you have been in diagnnosed by NHS etc. Have you tried your local County Sensory Service, they're usually good.
