Concerned!

Hi, I had my first injection on Wednesday. It's now Sunday & the white of my eye is as red as the day of the injection. Should I be concerned or is this quite normal? No pain or pressure and I'm positive that there is a slight improvement in my vision. Thanks in advance.

Hello Angela,

I bit of redness and soreness post injection does sometimes occur. Have you experienced any severe pain? If you are concerned, may I suggest that you call your hospital eye unit for advice and reassurance. Please feel free to call the Society helpline on 0300 30 30 111 if you would like a chat.

Best wishes

Thanks. This morning there was a little of white coming back through. I also had a docs appt today and she wasn't too concerned. :)

Pretty normal Angela, ask your MD for eye drops to lessen the pain or weird feelings.
