Hi all,

I work up to 20hrs per week. It's not a lot but still something. But I'm thinking to get any support, because I'm paying for my all prescriptions. But unfortunately there is nothing for ppl working 20hrs. Or maybe there is and I don't know. Any advice please. Than You.

xx

Not an expert on support but if you have to pay for prescriptions, the cheapest thing is to pay monthly - I think if you need more than 4 in 3 months it's cheaper. I pay about £10 per month. This is the link: nhsbsa.nhs.uk/1127.aspx

Hope that helps a bit.

Hi just a quick question have you got thyroid problem because if you have you are entitled to free prescriptions didn`t know if this would help ,as when you are given a list of medication it can work out very expensive findout from your GP good luck xx

I dont get free prescriptions either, have to pay for all mine, but do it on a monthly prepayment plan, works out much cheaper.

also it might be worth appying for diabled persons tax credits and they should entitle you to free precriptions, help with money.

also as well as thyroid there are other illnesses exepmt from paying prescriptions ask your gp he will know if you qualify on medical grounds.
