Anyone taking this for APS? alongside Aspirin. Prescribed today by my Rhuematologist to try to combat my severe cluster headaches/migraines. Would appreciate feedback on experiences with it. Thank you. x

Have you been given Plavix for APS or cluster headaches.

I have Gabapentin for my headaches

Janice, my Rhuematologist consulted with a colleague who specialises in APS. Primarily Plavix has been prescribed for APS, to further thin my blood, as it is felt my cluster headaches could be as a result of my blood being too sticky to circulate efficiently. Alongside this I am booked in for a MRI scan of brain with contrast.

Hi I take Plavix have for years since 2001 when I had a TIA, it's a blood thinner and I get on ok with it., however I don't take asprin as it upsets my stomach but I believe you can take both. Hope this helps and you feel better soon love an light

i am on aspirin and plavix they gave it to me to thin my blood going through my heart. ive been on it for 3 years and have had no side effects. I have lupus, sjogrens and raynauds also. if the aspirin starts burning your stomach they might get you to take 2 plavix instead of the aspirin.
