How often do you see your lupus speacllist?

I see mine every 3mths when do you think it might be every 6mths

up to now i have been seeing mine every three months but on my last visit he has changed it so he now only wants to see me every six months.

that change for me was after 2 years at every three months,i guess if you are having no problems and bloods are consitant then he might leave each appointment longer.

everyone is different you might always stay at 3months.

I have been diagnosed 2.5 years and see mine every 6 months; my antibodies etc are all fairly stable. I also see a renal consultant every 6 months and a cardiologist annually. When they see how you respond to treatment and what works and you are stable, they will probably put you down to 6 months.

Once every 6 months appears to be the new NHS "normal".

when i was dianosed last year it was 3 months nowits risen to 6 months i think it all depends on pain and how responsive you are to treatment.

I can't wait till its six months, my life is dominated by hospital appoiments and waiting rooms thank you for your reply metoyou.

I was diagnosed by a renal consulatant back in 2000. I've NEVER seen a Lupus specialist!
