Then today seem to start a little better, when for no reason l ended up in floods of tears for an hour,(definately not like me) , What was that all about? But l did feel alot better later in the day,Just felt l had to tell someone. But ok now. Thanks for listening .

Sometimes those old tears just come from no where don't they, then we brush ourselves off and start all over again. I usually have a melt down when I'm hormonal. Best wishes xx

Those tears just creep up on us without any warning. I tend to find it is in the middle of a conversation when I have been asked to explain about how it affects me. Think I am doing well then the tears are trickling down my face.

Hope you are feel more like yourself soon.

Sometimes it all wells up and has to have a release..... Probably better than bottling it up.

Hope you feel better now? Take care.

I just want to let you know I feel for you.

You are not aone as we are all here to give you some support.

A few tears are a good safety valve, making you feel better afterwards.

At least we all understand how you must feel.

I hope you are feeling better now.

Take care.

Hey, I am past menopause, but still get emotional. It's ok... we all "lose it" from time to time. I think it's the nature of having so many things wrong with you at once. I call it the "one more thing added to the pile" syndrome. It's the old saying about the straw that broke the camel's back? Just when you think you've got one thing sort of managed or taken care of, another one pops up to take it's place. Sometimes it's more than one. I know that it's easy for someone to say to you that you look good. YOU are absolutely right that it's usually when you are sick.. I am usuually at my sickest when someone tells me that. I remind myself of when I was at the absolute sickest in my life. Things are way better than that. Having something that I can compare things to, relatively speaking, helps me to cope. Things could always be worse. I have to keep telling myself that and it could be. Or, I could be severely burned. That to me would just about do me in. So I am very thankful that Iam still here despite all of my past, present and future health problems. This site helps to have friends to talk to as they understand what it's like to have lupus and will not judge you. We are all battling this disease one day or hour or even minute at a time. Please don't forget that. You are not alone in this. Been there, done that as we say in the US.

Thank you so much to you and all the other people, for all their comments, l think losing my sister with cancer a few weeks ago did not help, she was my best friend and we were so close, she suffered so much, and l miss our many phone calls all day every day. I think l was just feeling sorry for myself. I had coped quite well up til now. Just telling someone else helps a great deal. Thanks again hope all is well with you all.
