Does any1 with Lupus sle have dle as well?As ive got the lupus rash on my face but now have a blistery rash on the back of my hands?
I have Polyarteritis Nodosa and suffer from the blistery rash on my face, back, chest and legs, but thankfully not on the hands - yet !! It seems to get worse when I am having or about to have a flare. I just keep the areas moisturised which seems to help, although I feel very self concious about the rash on my face when I go out. I worry that people might think I have something contagious!!
My discoid has scarred me,,legs and arms worse,,in the summer i have had some looks in check out ques like,,whats she got, especially when the spots were flared,,i got sick of covering up in warm weather and thought ,,knickers to people, think what hey like,,its the same to go swimming,,have too say aint done that in ages lol,,you go out and think blow em,,know it easy to say,,it took me three years to get to this way of thinkin,,at least it winter now and i can cover up,,thats what i say,,but hey roll on spring.Chin up ok x
I get what appear to be blisters on my hands and feet when it gets to this time of year and then through to about Feb/March, I'm told mine's down to cold injury in relation to Raynauds/Scleroderma.
Chilblains,,medication called Nifadipine,,i get chilblains every winter time through too spring,,toes get the worst ,try to keep warm and circulation good.My toes go rock hard and itch like crazy,,if you get cold dont warm them up fast as the increased blood flow make he itching worse hence scratching making the blistes bleed.
Change of season brings on a flare for me.: The last 2 weeks in October and the last 2 weeks in March. I've come to dread those times of the year. You can almost set your watch to it. I wind up on a short course of prednisone each year at those times. My inflammation level is always way up. Get your blood checked regularly by your Dr. Go from there.
