Does anyone else have cold hands, arms and legs, sometime with goosepimples even the weather is 35°?Any ideas why? No fever, just pain
Could be Reynauds disease which is a circulatory problem that often comes with SLE. See: nhs.uk/Conditions/Raynauds-...
yes - I have all of this even goosepimples in head and hubby wondering why I want the heater on. I feel so cold sometimes it makes me sick, having recently travelled from St Thomas for an appt came home feeling so cold that I was ill on train.
Hi Daisy
thanks for the reply. I am sorry to hear you are having the same symptoms but in a way I am glad I am not the only one! Thought I was going daft.
Has your Rheumy said why? I don't know about you, but I can cope better with this thing when I understand the mechanics of it all.
Take care

Hi All
I know what you mean recently went abroad and needed a cardi all the time I was there while everyone else was sunbathing!!! Since then I have fouhd out that my calcium iwas low (but even though the GP "but its only a bit so I should be fine!!" I started on the calcium and the first thing I noticed to go was the cold, since then I have also had to take Magnesium with it too because I had what I can only discribe as 'shaking inside'??? Everything is starting to settle now though - but the cold is definetly gone.
You're welcome Ursi and that's very interesting Tracey I've always thought it a good idea to take a reasonable-quality multi-vit and mineral supplement daily (Centrum is my fav) although can't always afford to buy them! They generally perk me up quite a bit. I've never thought about this in direct correlation to the Reynauds but, now that I do, it seems to be less of a problem. x
