From my previous blogs, week 1 went OK, week 2 was spent packing and getting ready for holiday, weeks 3 and 4 was spent on a lovely family holiday in Gt Yarmouth.
Week 5 - weekend was spent washing and ironing (thank goodness for the sunny weather), Monday was back at work boohoo. Today is a wet wet day and with 3 kids, no car and their wilingness to be nice to me today i am really feeling the stress. Why oh why do kids know when you are feeling low to really hit you hard with bad attitude and behaviour ??
All I can say is roll on tomorrow and pray the sun is shining and they can play outside.

I am a mum off 4 and know exactly what you are going through. I have been pretty much home alone in a small village with one park no car and me and the kids. I have days where I just think they are out to get me I am sure given my oldest is only 7 that they aren't but god it is still so hard some days just to keep on an even keel. Wish I had some sage wisdom to share but don't. Hope you survive the countdown to school.
I too am in a village with one small park, and no car during the week as my husband works away monday- friday, I went to town on the bus at the begininning of the hols it cost me over £6.50 for us all (return trip)!!!!!! Its only a mile or so away i didn't want to BUY the bus !!!!! When the weather is good our road is safe and full of children that play outside but on the rainiy days being inside is hell !!!
Good luck to you for the rest of the hols - only 12 weeks til Xmas apparently !!!!!!
