I need advise please

I already have fibromyalgia since 2003

I am being test now for lupus

Please can you advise me on the symptoms of lupus

and what medication they might recommend me

Everyone has different symptoms with Lupus and can range from facial rashes, mouth ulcers, fatigue and headaches to more severe symptoms like kidney disease and joint pain. To begin with, you will probably get hydroxychloroquine and anti inflamatory pain relief. If your Lupus is mild, then you can continue to live a fairly active life. I have Mild lupus and fibromyalgia and still manage to go to work and take care of my two children. Don't worry about it. Take care.

I was told when i was first diagnosed, that there are about eleven symptoms for lupus and if you have five or more of these symptoms, you are considered to have lupus. As Eleri says lupus is different for everyone who has it. Take care.
