I have actually had 2. The first time was in Nov 2011. I had a mild heart attact and they catherized the right side of my heart. At that time they went thru my growing area. I didnt have any problems other than some brusising, which was expected and they kept me overnight as a precausion. I then had to have another one, my stress test I had in Dec didnt come out to good so they went back and catherized the left & right side. That time they went thru my right vein at my wrist. Didnt have a problem with that either.
Currently I have a 60% blockage but other than shortness of breath and tireing easly, which is also a part of my Lupus SLE, I'm doing good. So dont worry to much about it. You'll be fine. Blessings
