prednisolone breathing issues

hi and good day to everyone. Can anyone advise if it’s normal to have breathing issues after taking pred for only a week and four days are these common side effects 7 mg for lupus flare up? Thank you 🙏

I don’t know if it’s common I was on pred for over 8 years and only time I had breathing issues was due to a blood clot.

As far as am aware (not an expert by far) pred helps with breathing issues.

I would maybe get in touch with your doctor in case your maybe having an allergic reaction.

I took Pred for 10 days last year and didn’t have any complications…it was to treat shingles.

I second what Sarahjj87 said, breathing problems are definitely a flag and I would recommend letting your doctor know.

Hi sarahjj87 and musicalfurbaby I have got blood test tomorrow and chest X-ray next week thank you doctor suspect it’s post covid or lupus thank you 😃
