DO i have some sort of skin thing

I get these wierd spots on my hand every summer and they are very annoying, i used to itch them and when itched more would come but now im just trying to not itch them and let them go away

Hi, I have lupus and Raynauds. The latter can cause a multitude of spots and rashes. I get red lumps that are very itchy on my hands and arms similar to prickly heat in the summer, and also white finger and chilblains in the winter. I’m in the UK and take a drug called Coracton.

I use to get spots like that which were very itchy in the summer and then I realised it's because of the sun. I started putting on factor 50 sunscreen and when I do I never get the spots.

However I did get some when it was not summertime and the doctor said it was inflammation of my hair follicle (Folliculitis) and he gave me ointment which helped.

Hi! I used to get tiny water-filled spots on and around my cuticles and arms as soon as the sun got closer to the earth. Usually around March. That was in my 20's. I now wear driving gloves and keep my arms out of the sun. I always wear a wide-brim hat when I'm outdoors. It still doesn't always help as I came out of an 8 month flare caused by the sun. Keep yourself covered. Wear your sunscreens and sunblock and always wear a hat. There's nothing more fun than dropping lots of weight and being chronically tired, said no one.

Hi BigK, not 100% sure about your rash, hopefully some of the replies here will help you.

I’ve had a number of rashes, everything from dermatitis (which can be triggered by hot weather and sweat) to vasculitis. Both very itchy, to the point of waking me at night, making my skin crack and bleed, and generally driving me out of my tiny little mind. I also used to get hot hands (they turned bright red and could heat up an entire room) and hive-like splotchy rashes.

Keeping the rashes cool seems to help. DermAid helps with dermatitis, and Anusol helps with vasculitis. I also started on Plaquenil a few months ago which has made a big difference to all the rashes! I feel almost normal again!
