Hi folks this is the moment Mira met with Theo our new baby grandson who was born 7 weeks early - he is doing really well and is out of hospital but still Tiny 6 lb , Mira has since met him 3 more times and she is mesmerised by him, she is there all the time looking and smelling him, Bea on the other hand sniffed him once and left him alone . I thought she might get jealous when I was holding Theo as she’s very possessive with me 🤣 but she wasn’t she just had to be sniffing him the whole time .

Oh, the best way to start our weeks. Theo and Mira are so adorable. I think that both Mira and Bea already understand how precious little Theo is. Out fur babies have such a unique instinct to what we need. Pumpkin and Gigi know when i am struggling sometimes before i know it. I am so happy for all of you.

I’m so pleased to hear tiny Theo is doing well after his very early entry into the world. 👏🏻👏🏻 I hope Mira’s infatuation with him doesn’t lead to her being ‘broody’. 😁 But she’ll keep an eye on him for sure. I remember reading how one woman owed her baby’s life to her dog. Like Mira her dog was constantly by the side of the baby and one day the dog came running for the her whining and indicating he wanted her to follow him. She found the baby had stopped breathing so phoned 999 straight away. They talked her through what to do until the ambulance arrived, but she knew without the early warning signal from her dog it might have been a very different story. I know Theo doesn’t live with you and Mira won’t see him every day but I thought it was such a heart-warming story showing how precious our pets are. I hope you are keeping okay SV. 🙏🏻 Hugs 🤗😘xxx

Beautiful picture. Congratulations on becoming a Grandma! So lovely to see Mira so taken with Theo. My niece was born 7 weeks early and weighed only 3lbs 1oz. She is now almost 15 and 5ft 7”! Towers over me! Xx 👶🏻🐶

I just got back from Texas with a seven month old chihuahua. He is a cutie! I have trouble posting photos and articles. Maybe I will ask a young person for help.

What a sweet picture and your grandson is absolutely beautiful! It's amazing how dogs react to babies, when mine were born we had a collie and she was something else, no one was going to get near them (twins) she would lay down right outside their bedroom door. She was amazing.

that is wonderful to see Theo is out of Hospital. It does brings back memories of when my girls were babies as they were both born a month prem both were jaundice. Both are now huge and tower me .Mira is being a protective one keeping an eye on the young one. Such a sweetie!!

oohh.. bless dear Mira she will continue to be mesmerised by Theo as he grows up 😅🤪. Me .. as usual aches and pains what we normally put up with 🤣 and then they clear up miraculously and the cycle starts all over again.
