Today my neighbours grandson turned 2. He is a gorgeous, happy little boy who has the best parents. I cannot see him because of Covid but I sent him a garage and cars from he Toot Toot VTech range. His Mum sent me this photo this morning and he loves it. Social media can be wonderful. I might not get my Cwtches but I can see him enjoy it.

lucky boy. It looks a lot like the garage my little brother got back in the 70's. we all loved playing with it. It even has the lift.

Such a bright and happy picture! I worked with hospitalized children for many years. Nothing like play time to keep a two year old from thinking of their illness.

Great reminder!

Xk

I know Kay. When we removed children or took them for Child Protection medical however traumatic the situation toys helped distract and engage. Xxx

Thank you. He lives about ten miles from us. His Mum and her sister were always in my house or I would help with homework, give them lifts etc. His Mum and Dad are just lovely people. The last time I held him was over a year ago. I had the garage sent directly to him and his Mum packed it for me. It made me smile today xxx

What I wouldn’t give to sit in a baby grow and play cars πŸš—πŸ˜‚β€οΈ.. what a lovely pic you’ve posted . I’m sure I had a garage with a β€œlift” which I used to put sweets in πŸ˜‚.Such a thoughtful present. Big hugs to you xx

I would love to watch him play. His Mum is so thoughtful she brought him on the doorstep to open his Christmas present which was a dinosaur that sings and a fox and badger hoodie. Needless to say he was not interested in the hoodie but loved the dinosaur xxx

I cannot tell you what it means to Neil and I to be able to share in watching this gorgeous boy grow up. When you are childless you are also grandchild less so it is wonderful seeing his lovely face brighten my inbox and warm my heart. I am so proud of his Mum, she has grown into an intelligent, compassionate young woman. So happy to be a part of their journey is some small way xxx

Aww thank you, strangely we are frequently falling out with her mother and stepfather but we think the world of her, her husband and little boy. It will be wonderful to go and visit , we have an invite to play in the garden but with my leg I cannot manage their drive as it is like a ski slope. When I am well there will be no stopping me lol xxx

He’s gorgeous!
