Hey -- I guess I was as stated pre lupus, but now I do all stated by Troublsomelupus and more including hair washing and showering plus daily "walks" in the wheelchair. I now realise (the hard way) that it is not easy being a housewife. I even have chapped hands to prove it!! Now where did I put my Marigolds?
πΉ BeeManShrop..you are amazing!! πAqueous cream helps my hubby's dishpan hands!! It's about Β£1 for a big tub n it'll keep your hands in tip top condition!! ππ½π½Xx
Thanks Krazykat I am sure I am not the only husband who has had to radically change their ways for a loved one with SLE. As a beekeeper I am used to dealing with assertive, and sometimes aggressive females (all with a sting in the tail!!). My wife has been as good as gold in tackling SLE and all of it's various trials. Having said that I do, very occasionally, feel like Basil Fawlty when half way through one job she wants something else done. Like this morning when I left her with one sock on to go and get the post -- saying "yes Sybil". Some day I will tell the tale of the suppositories --perhaps not. Off now, to deal with my other girlfriends -- in their hive. XX
