Rheumatology recommendation

Hello lovely lupus forum ❤️

I don’t know if this is something I can post so apologies if not ..

I just wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of a rheumatologist in the South West? I live in Somerset and I can’t find one locally who has knowledge of lupus / lipoateophy . Am prepared to travel and I have insurance so Gp happy to refer .

Hi Tiggywoos ,The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) in Bath is a LUPUS UK Centre of Excellence. It may be best to ask for a referral to the team there?

I go to Dr. Knights at Yeovil District Hospital, for me she has been really good, tells it like it is and is willing to explore all avenues

Hi Secondlife hope you're keeping well and warm . I am going to call Dr Knights secretary today to see if she's seeing patients face to face. Do you mind me asking if she was the first rheumy you saw or had you been round the houses or so to speak?x
