Do you have symptoms? Did he say why he ran the tests?
He ran the tests because of my thyroid symptoms and I have positive thyroid antibodies. I don’t have rush, but I have white/ blue fingers when I am cold, I am tired, I have tension in neck muscles which later goes into headache for a year about ... I am only 30
I bet he wants to watch you. You don’t have specific symptoms of systemic autoimmune disease. But these illnesses are unpredictable. Report any symptoms to your doctor.
Sounds like you have a good doctor. It is important that he/ she observe you over time. That helped me a lot when I was like you.

Thank you for your response, he ordered some general blood test also for next week, maybe it will tell something more. What symptoms did you had in start?
Fatigue, thyroiditis, elevated ESR, anemia of chronic disease, dry eyes and mouth.
Seeing patients over time is critical with these autoimmune diseases. The doctor will get to know you.
They can do more tests and possible make referrals if your illness revolves.
I was sent to a rheumatologist after a year and a half. He said I had « autoimmune tendencies » and they would be watching me. Seemed crazy to me but that is good practice. They were eventually able to diagnose.
Just come here with any questions. We can’t diagnose but can tell you our experience.
Good luck.

I have fatigue and thyroditis also, but Monday I am seeing Endo, so he will tell me my diagnosis, but from all the results , I have underactive thyroid with TPO antibodies . Hopefully everything will sort out soon, as I feel tired and drain, and have no idea what to do, bad these thoughts not knowing what’s wrong with me, drives me crazy.
Sounds very much like a typical MCTD, did you get a referral to a rheumatologist? If not please ask. Yes it can be coincidental bit with your symptoms of reynaud and positive ANA and RNP it fits well together for a mild MCTD. Again a lot of people have these antibodies and dont have symptoms so you need to be followed by a rheumatologist to get the full picture. If you start treatment early maybe you will feel better very soon instead of dragging non for years and waiting to get worse symptoms.
I don’t have referral, but after my general blood, I will ask . Yes, if it’s not coincidental, it would be much better to be diagnosed early ...Thank you, for your response
Absolutely. Even things like increasing your vit D can help you in disease progression if taken early. Did you have your vit D checked? With MCTD it often comes low.
Serum pattern speckled - from labtestsonline.org/tests/an..., states:- Speckled—associated with SLE, Sjögren syndrome, scleroderma, polymyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, and mixed connective tissue disease. I would definitely, ask for a referral to a rheumatologist for further investigation.
