What a lovely morning it is, I have just successfully achieved my first 25min Run of C25K Thatβs week 6 completed! π Iβm ecstatic
WoW! I would have never Thought I would have got this far 6 weeks ago, I struggled so much doing week 1. I said to my family if I made it to week 5 that I would set up a just giving page for Lupus Uk and I did just that π here is a link to my page for anyone who would like to see how I am progressing.
Well done. Remember your pacing though. If you do flare remember to not push and do pull back to be wise. Autoimmunity can surprise and disappoint. If youβre in a phase where you can exercise consistently that is a wonderful thing to thank God for. We rejoice with you. We work hard to maintain the most mobility, strength and health that we can possibly have and to extend our wellness.
A BIG THANK YOU for raising funds for Lupus UK! Really.
I do make sure my health comes first and realise now I am running for longer periods of time I need a few extra days rest for my body to recover fatigue is bad at the moment.
I do hope with mindfulness my body will allow me to keep going to the end but I will not be disheartened if it is not achievable.
Ive already made the finish line in my eyes so I am not pushing myself to hard, I have accomplished much more than I ever thought possible already.
To think I have run for 25 consecutive minutes just amazes me!
I am just so happy that I am raising awareness!
My local newspaper has contacted me this morning after hearing about the awareness and fundraising I am doing for lupus UK and asked me if I would be interested in them sharing it with local times readers to help spread the word...
