Decided that I was going to go for walk in the early hours of the morning. 5mins from our house and it's open fields and country lanes. I walked about 2.5km, enjoyed the rain and the green fields. Came home and realised I've now got blisters on the soles of my feet and my toes!!
11 weeks of just moving around in the house and sitting in the garden my feet can't cope with a short walk 😂 I just have to laugh at myself as pre covid I was doing 9-13,000 steps a day.
Anyone else found that their levels of fitness are not what they used to be , I was convinced all the home workouts would maintain my fitness.

Hi yes I braved my first walk outside yesterday too. It was raining and windy but my son had come specially to walk ( distancing of course) with me. I only managed about five minutes! I felt so tired, and afterwards my legs ached like they used to do when I had run Race For Life. Ridiculous. Enjoyed it so much though. Now I have braved the first outing will try round the block. Luckily live in quiet area but still nervous about contact after 10 weeks avoiding. The strangest part of all was locking my front door when I went out, For nearly 11 weeks I have only turned the key to lock myself in. Now I'm locking myself Out!!!! 😳 Enjoy your exercise. Stay safe. Hope your blisters go soon. 👍
It must have been lovely to spend some time with your son. I think the hardest part is going out the first time. I'm glad you enjoyed it, hopefully you'll be able to do a little bit more next time.
